Blood Donation Recognition Schemes
Student Regular Blood Donation Programme
Students will receive a souvenir at thier first blood donation in a school year (between 1 September and 31 August of the following year), and another souvenir at their second donation during the same school year, in order to encourage their participation in regular blood donation.
First-time Donor Blood Type Pin
Not only will first-time donors be sent a donor card, they will also be presented with a pin bearing their blood type (which the donors can obtain at any donor centre after receiving their donor card). If donors give blood on thier birthday, they will also receive a pin to celebrate this very special and meaningful birthday.
"My First Step" Commemorative Badge
First blood donation is worth remembering, so we specially present the "My First Step" Commemorative Badge to all new donors to appreciate their first-time blood donation and to encourage them to gvie blood again and regularly.
Regular Blood Donation Badge
If donors can achieve the following number of blood donations during the period from 1 April to 31 March of the following year, they will be presented with a regular blood donation badge.
Youths aged 16-17 years : 2 times
Females aged 18 years or above : 2 times
Males aged 18 years or above : 3 times
Annual Donor Award Ceremony
BTS will invite donors who have cummulatively made 25 donations or its multiples in a year to attend the Annual Donor Award Ceremony in recognition of their long-standing support for blood donation.
Donors who have donated blood 5 times, 10 times and 20 times will be presented with a donation certificate to mark the milestones.
Seasonal Blood Donation Promotion
During special occasions like Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Summer Vacation and Christmas, etc, we may present special souvenirs to blood donors in appreciation of their support and motivate them to keep giving blood.
