The Bone Marrow Donor Award Ceremony 2017 organized by the Hong Kong Bone Marrow Donor Registry (HKBMDR) of the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) was held on 11 March 2017, with 54 bone marrow donors received the recognition.

Gracing the audience in the presentation ceremony, Dr Ko Wing-man said, “I wish to offer my highest tribute of respect to all donors for their selfless contributions and generous donations, which deserve praise and pride from our community. I hope that today’s ceremony will enlighten more citizens to register for bone marrow donation. With more registrations, there will be more hopes for patients”.
