Q: How many blood donation appointments can I make?
You may only make ONE appointment, no matter if you are booking for whole blood or apheresis donation.
*To ensure donor’s eligibility before making an appointment, we only allow donor to make their ONE appointment.

Q: When will the earliest advance booking be available?
Whole blood donors can make an appointment from the next day to the next 30 days.
E.g. Donor can make the appointment of 16 January on 15 January.
Apheresis donor can make advance booking 2 days from now.
E.g. Donor can make the appointment of 4 March on 1 March.

Q: When will HK Blood release available time slots?
For whole blood donation, you will be able to book your appointment for the next 30 days.
For apheresis donation, new available time slots (for the coming second month) will be released on 10:00AM of the last day of every month.
E.g. Apheresis booking from 1 to 31 of March will be released on 10:00AM, 31 January. Apheresis booking from 1 to 30 of April will be released on 10:00AM, 29 February.

Q: When can apheresis donors make their next appointment?
Apheresis donors can make their next appointment the day after their donation.
E.g. Donor will be able to make their next appointment at midnight of 16 January, after attending the appointment on 15 January.

Q: How can I check my next eligible date?
You can login to check the count down calendar of your next eligible date on the landing page.
If you are already eligible to donate blood, the countdown calendar will no longer be showing on the landing page.

Apheresis donors can check their eligibility for whole blood and apheresis donation in a separate countdown calendar.
If you are eligible for either one donation type, the countdown calendar will show a "0" on it.
If you are eligible for both donation types, the calendar will no longer be showing any countdowns.

Q: What is the basic requirement for making an apheresis appointment on HK Blood?
Apheresis appointment is now available for apheresis donors who donated within ONE year.
If you are having your first apheresis donation, or you donated apheresis earlier before, please contact West Kowloon Donor Centre at 2507 7733.
